Syracuse Juneteenth Grand Marshal # 2 is @cusewbb Felisha Legette-Jack who is the current head coach of the Syracuse University's women basketball team. She previously served as the head coach at the University at Buffalo and Indiana University's women basketball teams.

We're officially kicking off the 32nd annual Juneteenth Cultural Festival and Parade! The festival is returning to Downtown Syracuse on June 17 and 18 in front of City Hall.

We're officially kicking off the 32nd annual Junet We're officially kicking off the 32nd annual Juneteenth Cultural Festival and Parade! The festival is returning to Downtown Syracuse on June 17 and 18 in front of City Hall. 

The festival kicks off Friday June 17 at 12:00 p.m. during a City Hall flag raising ceremony. The Saturday parade line up is 10:30 a.m. at the Dunbar Center and will be lead by grand marshals @Syracuse1848 Common Councilor Rasheada Caldwell and Syracuse University (@cusewbb) Women's Basketball Coach Felisha Legette-Jack.

The Syracuse Juneteenth Committee hosts an annual The Syracuse Juneteenth Committee hosts an annual festival and parade each year that brings residents from Syracuse, a city where 89 languages are spoken in our school district, together. The festival is #OpenToAll and generates capital for Black artists, small businesses, and us, the festival organizers, so that we can begin advance planning fir the next year.

After COVID-19, we knew thus years festival would not only be a big lift for our small group of volunteers but that iur vendors and traditional funders had all experienced signifigant changes. We are proud to say, this year Juneteenth is back!.

We are partnering with other civic, health, and arts organizations to promote healthy families, healthy habits, and civic and community engagement and entertainment that truly celebrates freedom, Black health, and Black contribution to American History.
